Debbie Headrick.........
I spent my early years participating in just about every sport I could find, where running was simply a means to get you to a ball with your racket or your stick, or to the front of the ski hire queue.
A friend pursuaded me to enter a 10k and we ran our first race together on minimal preparation - and it hurt! But the huge sense of achievement and the great fun I had in that first 'proper' run stuck with me and I soon became hooked on running for runnings sake!
This led to an interest in all things running and fitness related, and I soon decided that I wanted to work with others to help them get the same from running. I love seeing the sense of achievement that running can bring for everyone, whether its managing their first session running 20 seconds at a time through to improving their half marathon time!
I've recently jumped into the world of triathlon, so am juggling my new swimming and cycling passions with running, and am currently training for a half ironman triathlon.
