Individual Programmes ................

When you are training for a specific event it really helps to have a programme to follow. It keeps you focussed and ensures that you are getting a good mix of sessions to get the most out of your training.
 
Programmes out of magazines, or websites are good, but they don't take into account the time you have to spare, the exact level of your current fitness, injuries you may have or have had in the past. They also don't allow for commitments you may have in your life, or weeks when you can train less, or more.
 
We will take all these factors into account and provide a programme that is right for you. We'll also give you guidance about what to do if you need to miss sessions.

Programmes can be created for up to a 12 week period, and for various lengths of event.

For marathon programmes, especially if this is your first, 6 months is a good timescale for training. An initial 12 week programme will build your 'base' fitness up and help prevent injury. A further 12 week programme will get you into the crux of your marathon training, building up the length of your runs and developing some pace if required.
