Our general class is suitable for those graduating from absolute beginners or who can run for about 20mins continuously. It is suitable for those looking to do 5ks or 10ks, or who have perhaps already done one or two. Anyone running regularly for an hour or doing several 10ks would be more suited to our Intermediate class.
The weekly class takes place on Mondays from 6:30-7:15pm at the Meadows.
The sessions vary each week depending on who is there, what they need and how they feel. All sessions start with a warm up and finish with a cool down. The main section of the session can be working on strength or pace, or sometimes it's a more sociable run, or even technique based.
Although there are different levels of fitness within the group nobody is asked to do anything that is beyond them, although you may sometimes be pushed outside your comfort zone.
These classes are both drop in at £4 per session, or you can pay £15 for the whole month at the beginning of the month.
